Spring is in the air at Z33

Spring is in the air! The senses of plants and fresh soil. Can you smell it too? We at Z33 surely can. And not only in our 'private' beguinage garden but also inside the exhibition space. Just take a look at the pictures of the construction of the new exhibition Kris Verdonck - EXHIBITION #1. These last new pics are of EXOTE (first ones in the slideshow), a new work by Kris Verdonck and a commission by Z33.

EXOTE is a metaphorical garden installation with a selection of invasive alien species (fauna and flora) in Belgium that form a potential danger for biodiversity, economy and human health. It is some sort of ‘end-of-the-world’ landscape and a metaphor for a world in which man has to protect himself against an environment that he created himself.
