Simon Bowen is a researcher at Sheffield Hallam University’s Art & Design Research Centre in the UK. A central theme in his work is ‘participatory design and innovation’, in which design methods utilising 'critical artefacts' (provocative conceptual designs) can lead to innovation. Simon Bowen is also active in the digital world as web designer and consultant, while his creative side finds expression in photography.
