Canvascollectie 2010 / La collection RTBF

‘Canvascollectie’ is a contest, a television show, a website, an exhibition…, in short, it is a cross-media project through which both the Flemish television station and the fine arts field share Flanders’ hidden contemporary art treasures with the broader public.

For the participating artists the event starts with a provincial pre-selection, and the show culminates in a winner’s group show at Bozar in Brussels. There are quite a few side prizes to be won also, awarded by Canvas, a professional jury, KBC, and you, the public!

Canvas will broadcast the June selections in a four-part television series.

Canvas, Kunstwerk(t), Z33, and some 30 jury members will preside the preselections of the province of Limburg in the weekend of the 12th and 13th of April 2010.
