Kris Verdonck pre-opening Art Brussels

As part of the exhibition Kris Verdonck - EXHIBITION #1 (01.05.2011- 21.08.2011) Z33 presents an installation of Kris Verdonck at Art Brussels

On Saturday 30 April, Z33 provides a shuttle bus between Brussels and Hasselt.

Kris Verdonck’s work is situated in the transit zone between visual arts and theatre, between installation and performance. In his work, he creates an eerie sketch of the current state of our world. One of Verdonck's creations housed in Z33 is the commission EXOTE, a metaphorical garden installation with a selection of the most invasive alien species (fauna and flora) in Belgium. The indoor garden is part of a route with some of Kris Verdonck’s earlier projections and installations, which have now been gathered in a contemporary art setting for the first time.
