Factory of Found Clothes

Factory of Found Clothes (Fabrika Nadyonii Odezhdii in Russisch - FNO) is een collectief dat opgericht werd in 1995 in Rusland door Natalya Pershina-Yakimanskaya en Olga Egorova. FNO gebruikt installatie, performance, video, tekst en ‘social research’ om een operationele logica van de ‘fragiliteit’ te ontwikkelen als een subjectiviteit dat tegenover de ‘state of things’ staat – zij het het repressieve sociale en politieke klimaat van Rusland of de reflexieve futiliteiten van de internationale kunstscène.

In Nepotists, opportunists, freaks, friends and strangers, intersecting in the grey zone nodigt Factory of Found Clothes mensen uit om deel te nemen in het Unemployment Utopian Union project.
