Lieselot De Wilde is a singer, actress and performer. She graduated from the Lemmens Institute in Leuven and later studied with Dutch mezzo-soprano Jard Van Nes.
In her versatile practice, she allows existing songs to escape traditional frameworks. Thus, she collaborates with musicians, theatre makers and companies, such as Correspondances, Hathor Consort, Imago Mundi, Apotheosis, Ratas del Viejo Mundo, Servir Antico, Zefiro Torna, Soolmaan, Sofie Vanden Eynde, Christina Vantzou and Frederik Neyrinck. Lieselot performed in operas by Ben Frost and Philip Glass, tours with the Belgian companies LOD muziektheater and Zonzo Compagnie and is an artistic and coordinating member of WALPURGIS. In 2021, she won the Flemish Culture Prize Ultima music.
