Lucy Mckenzie
The Brussels-based Scottish artist Lucy McKenzie is inspired by early forms of entertainment, like 19th-century moving panoramas and dance organs, predecessors of modern cinema and electronic music. For Z33, she creates impressive new installations that combine painting, sculpture, and fashion.
Anna Godzina
Acoustically aware, Moldovan artist Anna Godzina locates her materials and inspiration in disparate landscapes. At Z33, Godzina’s sculptures are activated using with simple devices like motors or magnets.
