Finally! Finally! Enfin! On September 25, we will open two new exhibitions and have a party afterwards. And you can be there!
March 13, 2020. The day Belgium went into lockdown and we saw the grand opening party of our brand new exhibition wing fall through. Almost one and a half years later, we can finally welcome you for an opening party. We are eager to show you our building and exhibitions.
Exclusive preview
That evening you can visit – exclusively and completely free of charge – two new exhibitions. In the Eye of the Storm, Caribbean artists explore the impact of literal or figurative storms around them. With Grounds for Return, we present the first major solo exhibition by architecture scholar and designer Mae-ling Lokko. This exhibition summarizes her search for a sustainable and equitable production chain.
After your visit to our new exhibition wing and exhibitions you can go to the beguinage for the afterparty. DJ-duo Luvs & Dan D will provide good vibes, great music and a lot of atmosphere!
A coronaproof visit?
Your health and safety is our biggest priority. Please note that you will need a valid Covid Safe Ticket (via the CovidSafeBE app), that there will be no testing on site and that you will need to wear a mouth mask in the arrival area, for ticket scanning.
