Emilia Chinwe Brys (1998, BE) is an Afro-European visual artist who uses moving image, film, photography, writing and textile to create work which centers the inner emotional lives of her subjects and herself. Her art education began in high school when she attended “De! Kunsthumaniora” in her hometown of Antwerp. After her graduation she got a BFA in Media art at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Ghent (KASK) and MFA in photography at the Royal Academy of fine arts Antwerp.
