Joppe Venema (1998, NL) is an artist based in Amsterdam, NL. In his practice he constructs narratives by entangling fictional, factual and personal information which are then realised through immersive site-specific installations. Venema received his BFA from Sint Lucas School of Arts (Antwerp, BE) and is an artist in residence at De Ateliers (Amsterdam). Since 2016 Venema also runs Vaneen, a publishing platform focusing on artist books, literature and music.
