Romina Lischka bridges the boundaries between cultures and genres by forging her own artistic language where classical, contemporary, and musical traditions from around the world intersect. Since 2007, her concerts have taken her to renowned festivals and concert halls across Europe, Russia, Asia, Canada, and North and South America. In addition to her activities as a gambist, she studied North Indian classical singing (dhrupad) at the Rotterdam Conservatory (bachelor 2010) and in Delhi and Pune, India, under Ustad Fariduddin Dagar and Uday Bhawalkar. In the concert season 2012-13, Romina Lischka was named ‘ECHO Rising Star’ in the Early Music category by BOZAR Brussels and Concertgebouw Amsterdam. Her first CD received a ‘Diapason 5’. “En Suite – Marin Marais & Sainte Colombe” received the VRT Klara award for ‘Best Classical CD’ in 2015. In the 2019-20 season, Romina Lischka was a ‘Portrayed Artist’ at Bozar, and in 2019, she won the Klara Award for ‘Soloist of the Year’. In 2021, she received the Ultima Award in the Music category.
