Sofie Deckers (1991) is a graphic designer and scenographer based in Ghent. In 2020, she graduated from the Master Design, Space and Communication (HEAD Geneva).
She is fascinated by tourism and the imagination. Her diploma project Paradise Series explored the artificiality of paradisiacal holiday destinations between the boundaries of graphic design, scenography and performance. She continues this multidisciplinary approach by dissecting influential touristic representations and investigating the social evolutions and dynamics that are related to them.
