Unfold is a design studio from Antwerp, founded in 2002 by Claire Warnier (NL, °1978) and Dries Verbruggen (BE, °1979). Both graduated in 2002 at Design Academy Eindhoven. The oeuvre of Unfold examines the influence of digital production techniques on current design practices. By doing so, they bridge in their projects the gap between the digital and physical world, and explores constantly the borders between maker and machine. Unfold won in 2014 the Henry Van de Velde Award for Young Talent, and was elected in 2017 as Belgian Designer of the Year.
