Jeroen Vandesande – Circuit 03
One of the sound artworks from Sense of Sound will go on as a spatial installation after the exhibition has ended.
Circuit 03 was realised as a site-specific sound installation for the Hoge Ruimtes (the high-ceiled spaces) of Z33. The installation, composed by long tubes, plays with the feedback principle to produce sounds with which the artist created a composition. Now, a second series of sound instruments is being added in the shape of parabola, working according to the same principle. This way, the artwork receives a new visual and auditory dimension. During the summer months, try-outs and performances will take place with live musicians.
