Guided tours for Mies van der Rohe Award 2022

Francesca Torzo built the new exhibition wing for Z33. Today, the building is one of the five finalists for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2022 in the category ‘Architecture’. Especially for this occasion, we will put the building in the spotlight during this exclusive architecture tour on Saturday, May 28. A guide will take you into the world of the architect and show you all sides of the building, including workshop, offices or other spaces that you don’t normally get to see as a visitor.

“There are few buildings that play with all the tools you have at your disposal as an architect: the play of light, the alternation of large and small spaces, materials such as brick and concrete, patios with greenery, the vistas and different perspectives, … That is the power of this exhibition wing. Francesca Torzo masterfully plays all the senses, in every detail with great craftsmanship.” (Adinda Van Geystelen, Artistic Director Z33)
