Saturday, April 9, the new exhibition of BC architects & studies & materials opens. In Same Same but Different they show how we can deal differently with raw materials.
In this exhibition BC stirs up the discussion about sustainable building. They present a sample of their practice through three projects: the former gendarmerie barracks Usquare Feder in Ixelles, private residence WOODSTOCK in Wallonia and the workspaces of Atelier LUMA LOT8 in Arles, France. In addition, together with the postgraduate Building Beyond Borders of UHasselt, they investigate the opportunities of ‘urban mining’ and renewable building materials in Brussels.
Everybody is welcome from 8 pm onwards for the exclusive opening night of Same Same but Different. In addition, you can visit two other exhibitions: Charging Myths and Our Invisble Hands. Moreover, the entire exhibition building is accessible and you can enjoy a drink during the reception, and a dash of music.
