The inauguration of a new building presents a unique opportunity. It is the first and final time that one can discover the building purely as an architectural object. A program of exhibitions, guided visits, workshops for children, performances and a big festive opening party will welcome you. See you then!
During opening weekend, the building and exhibitions are continuously open to visit from 10 am to 5 pm and from 9 pm to 11 pm on Saturday, from 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday. Several performances will connect you to the building and the installations. We encourage interaction.
Our guides will take you through the exhibitions and the building. Join the free guided tours at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm. We meet at the new entrance.
On Saturday 14 March at 9 pm, we’re turning the volume all the way up with an exciting blend of house, italodisco, techno and afrobeat by Cheap Charly Men, the tribute by Gameboyz II Men to… Gameboys and fringe culture. BOLT RUIN is bringing a stroboscope show. Piet Dierickx, ex-drummer for Soulwax, among others, is a “master of musical trips”, and noannaos is unrivalled when it comes to promising future beat makers.
The Family Day
On Sunday 15 March we will start with the children’s film Marona. At noon, you will be able to enjoy some coffee and cake. In the afternoon, we are organizing the family workshop ‘Architect for one day’. And we will end with the unveiling of our participative projects: 33m² Quilt and Snuggie.
